26.04.1 release

[tkn (thom)]

@Norm24

Wasn’t that resolved through the testing we did for @suivue a few months back?

Yes, but it landed only in 26.10, not in 26.04.1

@suivue and the rest of the team are working hard on getting 26.10 ready for release so it might take some time for a 26.04 fix.

see this post:

Upgrading Ubuntu Mate 26.04 to developement 26.10

Hi @tkn I am not yet aware of all of the processes. Usually backporting should work with SRU (Stable Release Update) process, but in this case resolute was never officially released. So it may be tricky. Give me sometime, as stonking release work is now priority (till Oct 15). I’ll check with others and if nothing (official) works, I will put the fix on my PPA.

It might be wise to skip 26.04 altogether and upgrade to 26.10 when it lands later this month.
