I’d like bring to your attention graphviz, a renowned collection of cli utilities. graphviz clearly separates content and presentation. IMO, a precious thing about it is that one can post-process some data into graphviz compatible text and get proper visual output automagically.

Many distributions install graphviz as gimp dependency. Unfortunately, e.g. Ubuntu has graphviz v. 2.42 while Releases · graphviz / graphviz · GitLab features v.15.0 ![]()

Thanks for sharing! Although I had vaguely heard of this tool before, recently I was looking with a colleague to achieve such a thing, yet didn’t encounter this one. Comes at the right time this!
