I haven’t spotted a very new version of apt on my daily system, antiX, but that’s to be expected; it tends to run very old software so that it will be smaller in size and leaner. Of course after all of that hard work, sometimes rebuilding stuff from source to keep out the systemd code and keep it lean, we mostly run old stuff; I’ll check a few of my other systems; maybe at least one has something close to this version.

Neither antiX nor MX Linux uses any recent version; there’s is 3.0.3, but Debian Sid IS using 3.3.3 now.

I just noticed apt (3.3.3) installing now myself.

It’s reached [Debian] testing now, though that was expected given what Brian said

with testing not that far behind sid.
