Your distro + DE walk into a party. What are they doing?

Let’s have fun with this one.

Name your distro and desktop environment (or window manager), then describe what they’d be doing at a party together. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I’ll go first: Kali + XFCE.

Kali is that misunderstood guy standing in the corner that nobody will approach because he’s been badly stereotyped. When, in reality he just wants to help you check if your Wi-Fi is secure, better troubleshoot network issues, lock down your system and solve client frontend app bugs and vulnerabilities. But nobody is going to find that out because they won’t go near him.

Meanwhile, XFCE, she shows up in the same outfit she’s been wearing since 2018, perfectly comfortable, refusing to follow trends, and ready to outlast everyone at the party because she’s pacing herself.

My distro is ofcourse one of the dudes that’s going for the dancefloor and the girls while my DE is chilling with the people in the kitchen (always at the kitchen at parties)
