Anyone have experience with KEXI?
If so, any comments you would like to share?
Would you give insights regarding of strengths vs weaknesses compared

Some years ago I used DB Browser for SQLite. It was useful. It is not an app builder, but GUI DB inspector/debugger.
I like very much Django. It is automated web-app front-end for DB builder. Their tutorial is excellent.
