What a day 
Looks like GitHub is having issues now too. Sharing this in case anyone runs into strange Git or SSH errors tonight. For me it was all images throwing 404s:

I’ve tried to update my NixOS VM and it failed with HTTP Errors, maybe Cloudflare strikes again?

I didn’t even touch Git or GitHub at all yesterday. The ripple effects of the network outage continued to disturb a variety of services, causing problems for AT LEAST half of the day, and that’s being generous. My wife and I were talking about several TV programs; some she watches, several others we watch together. CBS was - and still is - showing signs of problems, but that might be a separate thing. CBS seems to go to war with various providers - we’ve seen it with WOW, Comcast, and Spectrum in the various places we’ve either lived or visited. Apparently the senior CBS management enjoys arguing with service providers, trying to squeeze more out of them. In this case, I think CBS is the one, but I’m not at all certain that it has anything to do with a network outage; I’ve seen these silly battles before and they’re not helpful to anyone but CBS.
