I have a muddy font in some Flatpak apps.
Only in combination with Wayland, under X11 everything is fine.
Any ideas?

I have found a solution that works for me!
Just install this package
XDG-DESKTOP-PORTAL-GTK
and the muddy fonts go away!
How is Wayland working for you? @shybry747 was saying it’s still a challenge to use with apps all these years later.
That package works if you type it in all caps?
No, of course it doesn’t matter whether it is written in lower or upper case.
Okay, a little more detailed:
KDE apps use the qt-framework and Gnome apps use the gtk-framework.
Some gnome apps (flatpak version) have muddy, hard to read fonts under KDE.
flatpak apps with qt-framework do not have this problem.
In my case it helped to install the package
xdg-desktop-portal-gtk
e.g.
pacman -S xdg-desktop-portal-gtk
Apart from that, wayland works very, very well for me. No problems worth mentioning.
I have not used Arch in years. But on Debian based distro using uppercase XDG-DESKTOP-PORTAL-GTK
won’t work, has to be lowercase: xdg-desktop-portal-gtk
as per the command example that you posted above. Thanks!
