Looking for image background removal tool

Do you know any FOSS image background remover apps for Linux that works totally offline?

I know only rembg but it is a pain to set it up and I obviously won’t be able to give it to my designer as he is designer, not enthusiast like me.

So criterias are: easy to install and with GUI

Hm. Found this new one: Trim-bg | There’s also: snapclear.app - not FOSS.

Does it really takes to install a standalone application to accomplish the task? Say, ‘GIMP’ has autoselection magic wand tool to select areas of the same colour and Busket tool can fill the selected area… IMHO any more or less decent image processing application is capable enough.

Write Tkinter frontend for rembg for your designer if he isn’t an enthusiast
