Farovite image annotating app?

What’s your favorite/preferred image annotating app? I’m looking for suggestions for an app that allows easily adding text, arrows, etc., to an image.

I found this page which lists some likely candidates but was wondering what the community has to recommend.

LinuxMint has the Gnome Drawing app and, of course, LibreDraw. I have added Pix (good for resizing, cropping, etc.) and InkScape (a great vector image creation tool). There is always GIMP. But none of these facilitate just dropping an arrow, text, other library images onto an existing image.

I use flameshot. I’ve never needed more features than that. I replaced the PrtScn keyboard shortcuts with it. Will be interesting to see what everyone else is using.

I use the standard KDE app spectacle
