Looking for a comprehensive list of distros that have GParted application preinstalled, preferably ones that can be run Live.
Hi @Kakujitsu welcome to our community.
First and foremost, GParted Live is a dedicated live distribution specifically designed for partition management. It is lightweight, boots directly into a minimal environment with GParted ready to use, and supports a wide range of hardware. GParted Live Official Download | Also see: DistroWatch.com: GParted Live
Ubuntu Live CD/USB includes GParted as a standard tool. You can boot the live environment by selecting “Try Ubuntu” and use GParted from the desktop.
Also MX Linux Official Download and most Debian-based systems I believe.
Thank you for your reply, I’ve been Debian user for many years and made a switch to Fedora last year as a daily driver. I’m fully aware of standalone GParted Live, CloneZilla Live etc. More specifically I’m trying to save time on rapid deployment. There dose not seem to be a clear cut list I can find which is why I’m asking here.
It depends if you run GNOME as a desk top or something else. KDE also has a partition manager kit of their own (Naturally .)
I run MATE on Debian 13, (testing, next stable, Trixie… what ever you want to call it.) and I’d have to install it.
