So at first, my fingerprint reader was working on Mint. But, after a little bit of time, the fingerprint reader no longer works. I’ve look around a little bit, used AI to help me troubleshoot the issue, even uninstalled and reinstalled fingwit a few times. Nothing has worked and I figured why not reach out. Since I have a dual boot system, I did disable the fingerprint reader on the Windows side. Yet, it still doesn’t work on my distro. Any idea why and any suggestions of better software that would work best with the fingerprint reader?
