I use headphones not ear buds, but this is good news for those that do use ear buds.

Managing Bluetooth earbuds on Linux often means relying on the desktop’s basic Bluetooth menu, with little access to device-specific features like case battery levels, noise control modes, gestures, or in-ear detection. BudsLink change this. It is a new Linux app that aims to close that gap for several popular earbud and headset families.

Agreed. I mainly use over-ear headphones as well, but it’s still nice to see projects like this filling long-standing gaps in Linux support. The more devices that work properly out of the box, the better for everyone.
