You can use Google Translate. But guess which members I found on this outstanding community forums? :star_struck:

I think @toadie first mentioned this community to me a while back. But today I stumbled upon it again while going through user feedback and screenshots from Distro Fighter and found members who were originally there.

Please keep forum.linuxguides.de in mind to refer new members to when they post in German.

Edit: The very first thing I did, well second, was blow right past one of the forum rules. How ironic! Felt terrible but mods were very kind. It was an honest error.

I was very surprised that you wrote in German language there. Google Translate did a fantastic job. :wink:

I was surprised I saw you there! Thanks for joining here also. I used Gemini to translate because with languages just replacing words often loses some true meaning and expression. Also I needed to clean the hyperlinks and references back to the blog as that was not the intention for the post, so it saved a ton of time vs. manually.

Yup, I don’t know more than 5 or 6 words of German, despite my first name’s loose links. lol

Which is why my nick name is hydn. When in Germany years back many pronounced Hayden as ‘hydn’ and it stuck! :smiley:

I used ZRAM in Fedora. Since yesterday I’m back with EndeavourOS, and here I’m using a separate swap partition. I never noticed any difference.
