Do you have any recommendations for Visual Code Extension to improve the debugging / indentation of YAML (Ansible) files?

Hi Toadle,
Open the YAML with your favorite text editor (PUMA, GEDIT), I think I used to use “.yml” for an extension, you’d have to read the Ansible manual to see what it accepts.

Hi @tmick,
I think you misunderstood me. I know what YAML is and I also have some experience with Ansible. But sometimes a debug function or an indent function would be very helpful.

Well I don’t put Microsoft products on Linux. 
So have you tried Geany or a Linux based code solution? I’m not a programmer by trade so I wouldn’t know what IDE works best for YAML files, I just use a text editor for them. There’s a Linux Alternative version of Notepad++ called Notepadqq that might have debugging to it.
That’s the best I can come up with, sorry.
