The question now is, has the damage already been done? You guys may remember when Red Hat made policy changes that hurt the Linux community. Most recently, how they ended CentOS as we knew it.
Now look at the explosion of Rocky Linux, Alma Linux, and others, including even Ubuntu and Ubuntu Pro free and paid, creating a mass exodus in certain niche cases like cPanel/WHM.
I wonder how much market Unifi has been gobbling up with their new NAS entries.
