Pursuing from ubuntu-mate.community

Really appreciate you taking the time to lay all of that out so clearly. It’s the side of Linux we love; how much you and others care about the MATE community and the history behind it, and that kind of passion is exactly what makes a project like this last as long as it will. Long live MATE!

Whatever that is Linux-related brings people here, they’re welcome. And for those who find this a comfortable place to land, we’re glad to have them.

I’ve already made so many great connections here including in our @kernel-member and @moderators. I’m sure I speak along with everyone in welcoming you guys! :handshake:

This place isn’t the busiest forum always, but we have always stuck to our Code of Conduct and rules and done our very best to keep this community a relaxed space.

Where members of all ranges of experience don’t have to be worried about being told things like, “That’s been posted already!”, “Did you use search!?”, “Why would you even want to try that…[insert support request here]”, etc, etc.

Basically a bunch of the bad forum habits I’ve observed since the early 2000’s. None of which I’ve noticed with you @MATE gentlemen.

Thanks for joining us here, there are many options, we are honored.
