@Norm24 you are all set! For anyone else, to change your Flair icon. Join one of the groups MATE Desktop for example.

Then, go to your profile preferences, and select the option there:

Thank you very much to @ericmarceau for having reached @hydn to set up this “MATE Desktop” category here in “LinuxCommunity.io” … and thank you very much to @hydn for setting this up!

As I’ve just posted in the “Ubuntu MATE Community” - “New Google Group - MATE Companions - #13 by ricmarques - Ubuntu MATE Community” - (and as you can see) I have (also) set up my user account here, in “LinuxCommunity.io” with the same name (“Ricardo Dias Marques”), same username (“ricmarques”) and same avatar that I use in the “Ubuntu MATE Community” :slight_smile:

Just moved here from Ubuntu Mate forum and requested to join Mate group.
BTW, there is no option to change my avatar. Newbie’s zero privileges suspected. :thinking:

Welcome to the forums. :handshake: I bumped your trust level up to level 1. You should be ok now:

Users at trust level 1 can…

  • Use all core Discourse functions; all new user restrictions are removed
  • Send PMs
  • Upload images, attachments and avatar.
  • Edit any wiki posts
  • Flag posts
  • Mute other users
