I have an older Thinkpad Carbon x1. On Windows 10 I got about 6 to 7 hours of battery life. But so far with Elementary OS, I get only around 4 to 5 hours max. Try installing and configuring TLP . Arch Wiki as always has an amazing guide . Also, have a look at The Linux PowerTOP tool .
