Niri (Scrolling Window Manager)

I came across Niri for the first time today, and it immediately sent me down a short YouTube rabbit hole. It’s a Wayland scrolling window manager that takes a different approach from traditional tiling, and from what I’ve seen so far, it looks genuinely promising.

The workflow seems thoughtful, the visuals are clean, and the idea of scrolling workspaces instead of rigid tiles makes a lot of sense for how many of us actually work.

I’m curious if anyone else here has tried it already or has thoughts on where it fits compared to more traditional tiling setups.

I like how Niri works; I tried it out a while ago. Unfortunately, I’m too lazy to really learn and adapt Niri.

Thats my main worry also. Is it so different that if you get used to it, it makes everything else feel awkward?
