This guy figured it out before he had children! It’s always easier when there are no little ones involved.

I figured out what I wanted to do too late. So I set my sights on retiring early instead.

This was my case.

I never truly embraced being a painting contractor but I did it for 35 years and was fortunate enough to mostly retire early, I will take on the occasional small job under a fellow contractors license as I no longer maintain one or the insurance.

In hindsight I should’ve taken advantage of the GI Bill and went to college after seperating from the military. I’ve always been fascinated with astronomy and would’ve loved to have done something in that direction but that’s all water under the bridge at this point.
