Hi all,
I’m working on learning the Go programming language, so I can be sure I’m setting up Grafana & Prometheus correctly and was wondering if there is someone that knows it well. That way I can ask them questions if I get stumped on something. Grafana uses the Go language for configuration and it would be nice to know what I’m configuring.
Cool beans. I would say these are the best peer-to-peer Golang resources:
- Discord Gophers
- Join the Golang Developers Community | Golang Cafe
- https://forum.golangbridge.org/
We just don’t have anything along those lines in our forums. I’m sure of our 3000 members, there are others who are familiar with Go. In any case, I hope the links above is a good start.
Well @devdev should be helpful after all, it was his suggestion in All in one log veiwer that I finally got around to trying
@devdev is a forum seeding account. You have access to see this as a forum mod.
When any forum is first created, it’s completely empty (cold start). So to help spark initial engagement and give early visitors a sense and good idea of the types of conversations we hope to see, a few accounts used to be used as seeding accounts like this one to post helpful content and start discussions. It’s a common practice in new communities to avoid the “ghost town” effect.
There has not been any paid seeding on the forum for quite some time. We do log into some accounts still if something is directly involving it.
UGH I fell for a bot’s advice
No. Definitely not a bot.
The closest thing to a bot here is in the Articles & guides forum, where topics are generated when a new blog post is added.
