I thought I’d share a tool that complements my preference to a keyboard workflow these days – and it got me back on MATE. It’s what I liked on Unity, but now I can get it on MATE with a lot more theming choices.
To clarify, what I meant is that MATE has a lot more theming choices (in general). Unity I have learned is very difficult to theme.

Just a side note. Cairo dock menu applet has app search box as well.
