In the Caribbean, geolocation can be very inaccurate. From day to day, my computer is registered in St. Kitts, Antigua, Barbados and I have reached the UK. That said, when I was using Arch I used to force my mirrors to the US, as a few times I found updates were taking hours to download. And when I switched to a US mirror, it came down in a flash.
I am sure European users wouldn’t have that geolocation nightmare, so I agree with Hayden, waiting a day or two shouldn’t be too bad.
